Khaki

No man’s suit can make hot and active summer fashion look cool the way a khaki suit can.

Khaki is actually a color, a light shade of yellow-brown somewhere between tan and beige. Because of its use for military uniforms in India and then elsewhere, khaki has more generally come to mean the fabric used for that purpose – typically a heavy cotton or linen, sometimes a blend of the two.

This is not a fabric (or a colour) that would be suitable for office wear or formal occasions, but a khaki suit is a great choice for more casual wear. It also works well with accessories, and it is able to provide the backdrop to support bright, pastel and even dark colours without looking out of place.
