The band of men’s watches normally come in of standard lengths. While for women the range is 6.75 to 8 inches, for men it is 7.75 to 9.5 inches.

Add 0.5 to 1.5 inches to the measurement around your wrist and you will have the ideal length for a watch strap, depending on how snug or tightly you like to wear your watch.

One thing that you should keep in mind is that different styles of men’s watch strap can fit in a totally different manner. The conventional clasp or buckle styles provide for a decent amount of size variation; men’s watches with band adornments usually tend to be a bit tighter, however, and you should allow for that.
